BALIKESIR CIGDEM BATUBEYSECONDARY SCHOOL

The school is in Paşaalanı neighbourhood in Karesi district in the city of Balıkesir. The school is situated in a 7000 m2 area as two blocks. 4700 m2 of the area as childrens playground is concrete. There are twenty-four classrooms, three control rooms , two rooms for school counselling service, two pre-school education classrooms and there is one ICT lab, one art studio, technolog design course workshop and one meeting room. There are seventy two teachers, two of them are special education teachers, 1080 students, eleven of them are refugees, four of them are special need kids ( autistic ) and eighteen of them are inclusive students.With the guidance of P.E. teachers . We have completed TUBITAK4007 science Project named ‘’Science Feast’’.The students who took part in this Project and their teachers decided to make an Etwinning Project too. So these projects are great steps for students to show their awareness of nature and to explore the Earth’s ecological problems.Our school has awarded with eTwinning School Label and also awarded with ''Clean School and Healthy School'' by the cooperations of Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health.
