The Curtatone and Montanara Comprehensive Institute is made up of a central office where the first grade secondary school and the A. Saffi primary school reside, as well as two other primary school complexes located in the hamlets of Madonna dei Braccini and La Rotta and three kindergartens, one in the centre and the other two also in the hamlets. The institute consists of seven plexuses, with 1010 students and 104 teachers, 3 nurseries, 3 primary and a lower secondary school. The School "Curtatone e Montanara" guarantees the exercise of the right of students to educational success and in the organization of self in relation to individual characteristics, in accordance with principles of fairness and equal opportunities through the design and implementation of numerous and varied activities such as ETWINNING Projects, to promote dialogue, cultural exchange and protecting environment. The school has various clubs including environment clubs that students participate in willingly and eagerly for working on environmental issues & problem solving. We implement CLIL methodology, Cl@sses 2.0 and «without backpack» methodologies, educational projects for testing advanced teaching methods, linguistic enhancement through laboratorial work (students currently studying two Community foreign languages - English and French or Spanish - using recreational and laboratory methods that allow the acquisition of real communication skills), intercultural and integrating methods, computer training, coding and robotics.
